The Dawning of a New Civilization

“Then a Voice said: ‘Behold this day, for it is yours to make. Now you shall stand upon the center of the earth to see, for there they are taking you.’ I was still on my bay horse, and once more I felt the riders of the west, the north, the east, the south, behind me, as before, and we were going east. I looked ahead and saw the mountains there with rocks and forests on them, and from the mountains flashed all colors upward to the heavens.

Then I was standing on the highest mountain of them all, and round about beneath me was the whole hoop of the world. And while I stood there, I saw more than I can tell and I understood more than I saw; for I saw in a sacred manner the shapes of all things in the spirit, and the shape of all shapes as they must live together like one being.

And I saw that the sacred hoop of my people was one of many hoops that made one circle, wide as daylight and as starlight, and in the center grew one mighty flowering tree to shelter all the children of one mother and one father. And I saw that it was holy.

Then as I stood there, two men were coming from the east, head first like arrows flying, and between them rose the daybreak star. They came and gave an herb to me and said: "With this on earth you shall undertake anything and do it."

It was the Daybreak-Star herb, the herb of understanding, and they told me to drop it on the earth. I saw it falling far, and when it struck Mother Earth, it rooted and grew and flowered, four blossoms on one stem, a black, a white, a scarlet, and a yellow. The rays from these streamed upward to the heavens so that all creatures saw it and in no place was there darkness.”

Prophecies, like Black Elk’s, were given when our Indigenous ancestors still rode free on the High Plains of Turtle Island. They plainly trace the advent of a “Hoop of Many Hoops” a “Global Commons” in which all nations, races, creeds, and classes are closely and permanently united in recognizing the oneness of our Human Family.

The advent of this New Global Civilization was foretold not only by our Indigenous Peoples of the Americas, but, as well, the Ancient of Days, and many other Faith Traditions Globally.

These prophecies of the Americas include the 2012 Mayan Prophecies, The Reunion of the Condor and the Eagle, the Eighth Council Fire, the Return of the White Buffalo, the Prophecies of Black Elk, The Peacemaker, Quetzalcoatl, Sweet Medicine, Handsome Lake, the Hopi, and many others.

These prophecies are firmly and unshakably rooted in the spiritual understanding and consciousness of the Oneness of the Human Family and All Life. From this spiritual understanding and consciousness naturally unfolds the realization of:

The Equality of Women and Men

The Balancing of the Extremes of Wealth and Poverty

The Elimination of All Prejudices

The essential Unity harmony of Science and Spirituality

Universal Education,

The Independent Investigation of Truth, and

Unity in Diversity.

"The Red Nation shall rise again, and it shall be a blessings for a sick world. A world filled with broken promises, selfishness and separation. A world longing for a light again. I see a time of Seven Generations when all the colors of mankind will gather under the Sacred Tree of Life and the Whole Earth will become one circle again."

The White Buffalo Prophecy

This Prophecy of the White Buffalo has been kept within our Magaska Ptesan Wicoti, Hinhan Wicasa Oyate for more than 160 years.

It was carried by Mato Gi, Phil Lane Sr., who was named Mato Gi by his Grandfather Tipi Sapa, (Black Lodge) after his older brother, Mato Gi, would rode the Bay Horse, Eagle Claws, and slay the White Buffalo Bull, as prophesied. Tipi Sapa,( Philip Deloria) received his name from his father Hinhan Wicasa, Owl Man, after a life changing Vision he received as young man at Medicine Butte when Hinhan Wicasa was 17 years old.

Only when the last tree has been cut down

Only when the last river has been poisoned

Only when the last fish has been caught

Only then will you find that money cannot be eaten.

The Hopi Prophecy

"There are two paths. The first with technology but separate from natural and spiritual law leads to these jagged lines representing chaos.

The lower path is one that remains in harmony with natural law. Here we see a line that represents a choice like a bridge joining the paths. If we return to spiritual harmony and live from our hearts, we can experience a paradise in this world.

If we continue only on this upper path, we will come to destruction. It's up to all of us, as children of Mother Earth, to clean up this mess before it’s too late."

As told by Thomas Banyacya,  Hopi Messenger,  1902-1999

THE 11th HOUR
Koko2.bmp

"You have been telling people that this is the Eleventh Hour, now you must go back and tell the people that this is the Hour. And there are things to be considered…

Where are you living?
What are you doing?
What are your relationships?
Are you in right relation?
Where is your water?

Know your garden.
It is time to speak your truth.
Create your community.
Be good to each other.

And do not look outside yourself for your leader.

Then he clasped his hands together, smiled, and said, “This could be a good time! There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore. They will feel they are being torn apart and will suffer greatly. Know the river has its destination. The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above the water.

And I say, see who is in there with you and celebrate. At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally, least of all ourselves. For the moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey come to a halt.

The time of the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves! Banish the word ’struggle’ from your attitude and your vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.

We are the ones we’ve been waiting for."

~Hopi Elders' Prophecy, June 8, 2000

THE TEACHING OF SEVEN FIRES PROPHECY

SEVENTH FIRE

"In the time of the Seventh Fire new people will emerge. They will retrace their steps back to find what was left by the trailer. The steps will take them to the elders who they will ask to guide them on their journey. But many of the elders will have fallen asleep. They will awaken to this new time with nothing to offer. Some of the elders will be silent because no one will ask any of them. The new people will have to be careful in how they approach the elders. The task of the new people will not be easy.

If the new people will remain strong in the quest the water drum of the Midewiwin Lodge will again sound it's voice. There will be a rebirth of the Anishinaabe Nation and a rekindling of old flames. The sacred fire will again be lit.

It is this time that the light skinned race will be given a choice between two roads. If they choose the right road, then the seventh fire will let the eighth and final fire an internal fire of peace, love, brotherhood and sisterhood. If the light-skinned race makes the wrong choice of the roads, then the distraction which they brought with them in coming to this country will come back at them and cause much suffering and death to all the Earth's people."

The Anishinaabe are Indigenous peoples present in the Great Lakes region of Canada and the United States. They include the Ojibwe, Odawa, Potawatomi, Saulteaux, Oji-Cree, and Algonquin peoples.
